20 Apr IAC Names Maurice Sessel President of North America
LUXEMBOURG (April 20, 2016) – Leading automotive interior components supplier International Automotive Components (IAC) has promoted Maurice Sessel to President of North America. Reporting to IAC’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO) Brian Pour, Sessel is now responsible for overseeing all primary central business functions for IAC’s North American region, including Commercial, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Procurement. Sessel will also set strategy and oversee the global core Engineering and research and development functions. With more than 30 years of automotive OEM and supplier industry experience, he brings extensive expertise to the position.

(“Steve”) Miller. “Maurice has invaluable knowledge of the North American automotive industry that will drive IAC’s business strategy in the region. We are confident he will hold our North American regional operations to world class performance levels.”
Previously, Sessel was IAC’s Senior Vice President of global Engineering and was responsible for all product engineering, design, tooling development, manufacturing engineering, advanced development and global material engineering. Prior to joining the company, he served in several senior leadership roles at Lear Corp. for nearly 20 years, including Vice President of Global Trim Operations, Vice President of Mexican Operations, Vice President of Chrysler Car and Jeep Platforms, Vice President of Ford Truck and Van Platforms and Vice President of Engineering for the Interior Systems Division.
Sessel earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.
