06 Aug IAC Group Names Three To Global Leadership Roles
LUXEMBOURG, (Aug. 6, 2012) –International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, announced today the appointment of three IAC executives who have been named to new global leadership positions.
Bruce Banks was named vice president, manufacturing engineering and will lead the global organization. Robert Bryan was named senior vice president, global human resources and Kelli Carney was appointed senior vice president, global purchasing at IAC Group. The three executives bring excellent leadership skills and extensive industry expertise in their respective disciplines, which will enable IAC Group to continue growing its global business.
Banks has been with IAC Group nearly ten years and previously served as the company’s director of manufacturing. Prior to joining IAC, Banks served in various manufacturing, engineering and management positions for Visteon and Ford Motor Company. As vice president, manufacturing engineering, Banks will oversee engineering and manufacturing activities for IAC globally. Banks is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and has a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University. He also has a master of science degree in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University.
As senior vice president, global human resources, Bryan will lead the human resources team for the organization. He has been with the organization since it was founded in 2007, most recently serving as senior vice president of HR for North America and Asia. Bryan previously served in several human resources leadership positions with IAC legacy companies since 1999. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and an MBA from Lake Superior State University.
Carney, a 23-year automotive industry veteran, previously served as IAC Group’s vice president of purchasing, North America and Asia. Prior to joining IAC, Carney served in various leadership positions at Lear Corporation. In her new role as senior vice president, global purchasing, Carney will lead the global purchasing and procurement organization. Carney has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
In 2010, IAC Group completed a global combination of its regional operations into one global organization. These personnel announcements continue to support this effort and will provide significant long-term benefits to the organization.
