LUXEMBOURG (July 13, 2016) – Leading automotive interior components supplier International Automotive Components (IAC) has appointed Scott Bennett as chief information officer (CIO). In this role, Bennett is responsible for overseeing all information technology (IT) functions, including global applications, data centers, systems security and operations support. He will report to IAC’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Dennis Richardville.

Bennett brings 20 years of IT and management experience to IAC. Prior to joining the company, he served as the North American CIO for Constellium, a Tier 1 automotive and aerospace manufacturer. As CIO, he managed the five-year strategic plan, led all IT aspects for the North American IT Teams, was responsible for the technology strategy for automotive industry IT solutions and served as the executive chair on the company’s global IT team.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, as well as a Master of Science in project management from Boston University. Bennett has also completed the Project Management Professional Certification through the Project Management Institute.
