Kelli Carney is President, Europe, for International Automotive Components (IAC). In this role, she oversees all primary central business functions for the European region, including Commercial, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Procurement. Additionally, Carney oversees the global Procurement function.
Carney brings 30 years of automotive industry experience in several areas of operations management. She previously was Senior Vice President of Procurement and Information Technology for IAC since 2014, responsible for all aspects of Procurement and Information Technology, globally. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of Procurement at IAC, since the company’s inception in 2007. Prior to joining IAC, she served in several leadership roles at Lear Corporation including Vice President of DaimlerChrysler Platforms, Director of Pre-Production Planning for the Interior Systems Division, Platform Director for General Motors Midsize Vehicles and Purchasing Commodity Manager. Prior to Lear, Carney held various roles of increasing responsibility in Industrial Engineering, Cost Estimating and Purchasing at Chrysler Corporation.
Carney received her bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is also Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
