Brian K. Pour is Chief Operating Officer for International Automotive Components (IAC), responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the global Commercial, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Quality and Operational aspects of the business.
Previously, Pour was Senior Vice President, Manufacturing for IAC, where he directed and oversaw IAC’s 82 manufacturing facilities around the globe. Prior to this assignment, he was based in Shanghai, China (2007-15) as Vice President of North Asia, responsible for the Company’s Commercial, Engineering and Manufacturing operations across China, Japan and South Korea. Among his achievements in Asia, Pour played a critical role in establishing and growing IAC’s presence across the region. This included setting up engineering centers in Shanghai, China; Pune, India; Nagoya, Japan; and Incheon, South Korea; organically growing top line revenue by more than 18 times; establishing market presence in all four of IAC’s core commodity groups; and, set up and launching of 16 new greenfield and brownfield manufacturing sites across the region.
Prior to IAC, Pour spent six years with Lear Corporation where he served as Engineering Director for the Asian OEM business unit. He began his automotive career with Textron Automotive Co. where he spent six years serving in a variety of program management and engineering positions both in the US and Japan.
Pour received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Michigan.
